A minimum spend is the minimum amount your group needs to spend on food and beverages during your event. It applies to the entire booking, not per person. For example, a minimum spend of $1,500 means your group needs to spend at least $1,500 on food and drinks combined. Any unmet minimum may be charged as a room hire fee.

A shared booking means your group has a reserved section of the venue, while other guests may still be present in the same space. Exclusive hire means the entire space is reserved solely for your group. Exclusive hire is available for an additional fee and is recommended for larger groups or more private events.

Children are welcome at most of our function spaces, but please note the Whiskey Bar is strictly 18+ only. Let us know when you enquire if you'll have minors attending so we can recommend the best space for your group.

Yes — we have on-site parking available. Ricks Garage is located in Palmwoods on the Sunshine Coast hinterland, easily accessible from the Bruce Highway and surrounding areas.

We recommend getting in touch as early as possible, especially for weekend dates and major events like Christmas parties. Popular dates can book out months in advance. That said, we do our best to accommodate last-minute enquiries where possible.

Absolutely. Ricks Garage has a strong live music culture and we can accommodate live performers in select spaces. Mention this in your enquiry and our team will let you know what's possible for your event.
